Happy Easter Color challenge
Today I participated in the Paper Players Color Challenge. I had a great time creating this card, I really wanted to use the butterfly and so I made a 5x7 size card this time.
Recipe:
Cardstock-Regal Rose, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Pool Party, Very Vanilla
Ink-Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Regal Rose
Stamps-Parlor Prints Background, En Francais Background, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Swallowtail
Markers- Raspberry Ripple, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette
Embellishments- Crumb Cake Seam binding Ribbon(Inked with Early Espresso), Vintage trinkets brads & Safety pin
Tools- Modern Label Punch, Paper Piercer, Paper Snips, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Stamping Sponge.
I inked the butterfly just on it's wings with the Regal Rose Ink, then I colored the body with the Early espresso ink and colored the highlighted parts of the wings with the Raspberry Ripple marker. Then I huffed on the stamp and placed it. After I got the image I wanted I took Pink Pirouette and colored in the rest of the wing, and Crumb Cake to color in the body, I felt like this gave it some dimension. I hope you enjoy!
