New Years Resolution!

Hopefully in 2009 I will have at least one new project on here with instructions per month! That is what I hope to be able to do! I will also have some kits available for those who prefer the ease of that! So that is my resolution now lets see if I can keep it!

christmas cards!!

so here are some christmas card I did last year for my christmas class. I am not doing a class this year becuase of the move. I am selling christmas cards so if you see something you like let me know! On the "purple snowflake" card the dark snowflake is glittered, you cannot tell in the photo but it is really pretty. Also the "let it snow card" the word SNOW is glittered. The "Christmas tree" card is a duel fold card, the green cardstock is folded so you life the flap of green and then you lift the flap of red and green stripe. I hope that made sense.

We Bought a House!!

so we bought a house and we are currently moving in once I get internet hooked up I will download pictures. The craft room is going to need a ton of work before it is usable so I will be scraping in the dining room for a little while. I am missing Scrap Paper Scizzors and all you people down there!!! I should be able to take the time for email soon and I am wanting snail mail addresses so I can send cards so if you can email them to me.

WE ARE MOVING!!!

Today we did our final packing and loaded the moving truck and tomorrow we leave for Missouri! We will be missing everyone in Kentucky terribly but we are exciting to start this new chapter in our lives!!! hopefully once things get settled I will have time to update this on a regular basis.

at the Melissa Francis booth at CHA they had a wall for the Susan G. Komen foundation the lingerie was all decorated using scrapbook supplies these are just a few of the ones that I thought were cute

CHA WAS SOOO AWSOME!!!

we just got back from CHA and I had the best time! I took tons of pictures of the samples so I will include some of those with this update. the new products coming out this fall are beautiful. so check out your local scrapbook store and check back here for projects with the new products.

I am sorry I haven't updated this sight for a while I am in the process of moving and selling our house I have several really great projects to upload as soon as I have a spare minute so don't give up hope definatly check back in Aug I should be caught up by then.

so it has been along week!! my kids flooded my bathroom and it went through the floor and into the kitchen, so I had Niagra in my kitchen and a huge mess to clean up without a shopvak. so I am on chapter 4 of my book and it is coming along better than I expected it should be ready for proof reading by September so I am excited about that. I have a few more layouts to add and then I will have to actually create more projects before I can upload them.

I know I have been promising this forever so here it finally is!!! this is the envelope book the tags are chipboard.

So I leave for California on the 27th YEAH!!!! I am very excited I will be flying with all my children and mt DH. I have taken the pictures of the envelope book and I just need to find the time to upload them and then you will get to see it !!!! I think I will try to get that done tomorrow. so my kids poured this scented powder out all over the foyer and it really stinks like lilac in my house now and not in a good way.

This is the first page of a book I made for one of my nephews. I can't wait to see what these pages look like with pics on them.

I will be teaching a class on this book in april at the scrapbook store. we will do the whole 20 page book in one day people are soo excited about this class.
There are a few more pages when I get more time I will add them. sorry I have been away for a while I have had Bronchitis for the last week and the week before that my little brother was here so I was busy entertaining a 16 year old.

I made an envelope book for valentine's day! it is sooooo cute I will post pics as soon as I get my camera back. well I am home from church today because my baby is throwing up all over the place. at least the older kids aren't getting it yet. well gotta run I have a bunch of chores to do including cleaning the craft room it is a disaster.

Yesterday I went on a "date" with my daughter and so I asked her where she wanted to go and she chose the scrapbook store!!!! you gotta start them young!!!

just a little me time

alright I just want to talk for a little bit no useful information here. Last night I was at the scrapbook store until about 1:30am and then when I got home a friend and I decided to watch a really dumb movie we ended up turning it off about 10 minutes into it in favor of sleep! so today I am really tired and the kids are totally ready for PLAY!!! All in all it has been a great day though. Last night our church did a talent show and my 5 year old son Kaiden told a story it was cute and he did a great job. I have put together a really cute envelope accordian book but I haven't taken pics yet so that is coming soon so check back in the next day or two! And the greatest news yet with the help of all the stressful situations in my life I have lost about 10lbs YEAH!!! I am really shooting for 30lbs so now I am 1/3 of the way there!!!! (I am also excersising and dieting so it isn't all stress, but the stress definately helps)

Sleeping Beauty

I Love this picture of my daughter Evelyn. She looks so peaceful and rested, she is almost 3 years old now and she is almost never still long enough to rest much less sleep. I used Glimmer mist to cover the frame and a prima flower for some dimension! also I embossed with a glittered gold embossing powder. Purple is her favorite color and she loves her frame.

so things going on in my life, My younger brother is coming to visit in Feb I am really excited I usually only get to see him once or twice a year so it is nice when there are extra visits. He is coming from California.

ramblings

I am supposed to be cleaning today but I have all of these ideas going through my head and I can't concentrate on my tasks. to make matters worse I am in need of a few basic cleaning supplies and I do not want to load the kids in the car to go to the store. I am basically trying to find an excuse to go into the craft room!!! I will probably be back shortly with new creations. The local scrap book store is haveing a competition for their design team I am currently on it and would love to be again. I am working on my submissions. we have to submit two cards, a page, and a project. When I have mine ready I will post them.
